To cater to the educational needs of the global students, S. CHAND International was established in New Delhi in May 1993. This venture helped learners in other countries to have access to a pool of knowledge available in India. This effort aims at upliftment of the status of education and literacy rate not only in India but also in other countries as well. The company publishes and exports textbooks, general books, children’s books and multimedia educational CDs to the Middle East, South East, Far East Asian and African countries. It is serviced by a team of senior field managers who regularly travel round the world to identify global educational needs.

The company is building strategic alliances with leading international and regional publishers for mutually building products for India and the neighboring markets.

Bahl, G.D. Tuli, Satya Prakash, W.U. Mullick, M.V. Pylee, B.L. Theraja, R.S. Khurmi, V.K. Mehta, Mani Ram Aggarwal, R.S. Aggarwal, Father Camil Bulcke, Lakhmir Singh, S.K. Gupta, O.P. Malhotra etc., continue to capture the Indian Education landscape for many decades and generations. The company is the only publisher that has, for the first time in India, published higher academic technical books in Multicolour Illustrative Editions.
