Mrs. Nirmala Gupta, Chairperson and Managing Director
Mrs. Nirmala Gupta, Chairperson and Managing Director of S. Chand Group and a member of Shyam Lal Charitable Trust, has been appointed as Chairperson of the Governing Body of Shyam Lal College, New Delhi. Mrs. Nirmala Gupta is a graduate of Allahabad University with post-graduation in Hindi in 1961. Mrs. Nirmala Gupta has been instrumental in managing Shyam Lal Nursing Home, a trustee of Shyam Lal Charitable Trust and hotels of S. Chand Group. She is also founder trustee of Sree Guru Swami Chinmayananda Sewa Nidhi,New Delhi . Widely traveled all over the world, Mrs. Gupta has participated in International Book Fairs in Frankfurt, Cairo, UK, USA, and has visited many other countries. She has also authored several primary level books which are bestsellers.

Mrs. Savita Gupta, Vice Chairperson
Mrs. Savita Gupta, M.A. (English) is driving force behind Group's hospitality business and is chairperson of Hotel Atlantic Pvt. Ltd. She is also on the board of S.Chand Group.

Mr. Dinesh Jhunjhnuwala, Vice Chairman
Mr. Jhunjhnuwala,Vice Chairman of S.Chand Group of companies. Also he is the Managing Director of Hind International, a company based in Hong Kong and having associate companies in various parts of the world such as China, Singapore, Vietnam, New Zealand and Australia. These companies are involved in diverse businesses such as International trading, manufacturing, investments, real estate, hospitality etc. These companies are all owned and managed by Mr. Jhunjhnuwala and his family which include his father and three younger brothers so he has a fair share of knowledge in running and maintaining business partnerships. He was exposed to international banking and finance from a very early age and has travelled extensively all over the world to support and grow the business.

Mr. Himanshu Gupta, Jt. Managing Director
Mr. Himanshu Gupta, Jt. Managing Director of S. Chand Group and Founder Director of S. Chand Harcourt(India) Pvt. Ltd., represents the third generation in this family-owned company and is spearheading the Company’s move into digital publishing and multimedia. Himanshu has been a trend setter in Indian Publishing industry as one of the first in adopting technology in education in India by bringing CD-ROM based educational material. From launching the first student-teacher portals and implementing ERP solutions in publishing in India and certifying S Chand the first ISO - certified publishers... He understands the changing and evolving dynamics of digital education and has been instrumental in leading the group’s first computer aided learning project e-Class for govt. of Uttaranchal in India involving 1100 state schools and HMH initiatives. His goal is to transform the Company into a ‘Total Education Corporation’.

Mr. Amit Gupta, CEO
Mr. Amit Gupta is the CEO of largest academic Indian Publishing Group- S. Chand and founder Director of S. Chand Harcourt (India) Pvt Ltd. a joint venture company between S. Chand and largest K-12 publishers of US Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, USA for new generation computer aided learning solutions for K-12 schools. Mr. Gupta is also Director& Secretary of Global Knowledge Network Society, which is a non-profit organization engaged in setting up educational institutions in partnership with world renowned organizations and institutions and is presently the convener of development committee of Shyamlal College Governing Body under Delhi University. A Mechanical Engineer by qualification with specialization in Operations Management from Yamaha Motor Company, Japan; Mr. Gupta has participated in several international programs on Operation Management, Total Quality Control, Project & process management, Organizational Strategy and Management Excellence etc. in some of the top international organizations and management institutions. Amit has evolved and implemented many First initiatives internationally in cooperation with ministries, Corporate and International Organizations such as USAID, NAED etc. in Middle East and Africa. Mr. Gupta has been playing an active role in Education & Training industry and have been instrumental in bringing simulation based Technical Training for Vocational Education. He is a Master Trainer for Business Edge programs under IFC subsidiary for North Africa Enterprise Development. He has also presented several papers and given talks on vocational education, 21st Century Education & e-learning in International conferences and on SME development. Presently he represents PHDCCI’s Management Committee as Co-chair on Knowledge Industries Committee and also is a member of Management Committee of ASSOCHAM in India.

Mr. Navin Joshi, Vice President (Publishing)
Mr. Navin Joshi has his P G degree in Mathematics and has attended many publishing courses. He has joined the Company three decades back and now he is with the third generation of the Management, only with his dedicated service. Widely travelled in India and abroad; attended several national and international book fairs, especially Frankfurt Book Fair, more than ten times. Possess pleasing personality and all the qualities of a noble person, which has helped him to have very good rapport, not only in the book trade but also in the Authors’ fraternity. In addition to supervising the editorial department, he is looking after the marketing of S. Chand products through the chain of branches and the retail national & international network.

Mr. Saurabh Mittal, CFO
Mr. Mittal is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants with over 11 years experience working in Corporates which have been brand leaders in their segment, from the automobile industry to manufacturing (an Indo-Japanese Joint Venture) to FMCG (Milk Based Products). As Finance head, Saurabh has at S. Chand overseen Group restructuring, de-merger, financial planning, budgeting secretarial matters and project financing. He has worked on best accounting and reporting practices under Indian GAAP, worked with the leading Audit Firms, complied with requirements of SEBI for listed companies. He has also actively initiated and completed the progression of accounting systems onto the ERP and VPN platforms.
