We are equipped with the best of facilities such as an in-house printing unit which comprises a processing unit, four automatic colour printing machines, rotary machines and a binding unit. All of this ensures that we can produce over 20 million page impressions per day. Bringing latest equipment, training manpower and having robust processes are inherent to the S. CHAND way.

Infrastructure

We have installed the finest one-colour to four-colour offset printing machines and technology from world leaders in printing machinery such as Heidelberg, Roland,Planeta, Planeta Super Variant 4, KBA Rapida 105 and Adast Dominant 806 A. Web offset machines supplement book printing load and thus meet the large runs along with best world-class printing quality.

Paper is one of the most important ingredients of printing. To meet international expectations, we use the best quality printing paper sourced directly from paper mills. The group’s skills in materials resource planning ensures a ready stock of different varieties of printing paper to be able to deliver customized and high-quality printing in short time. We also ensure that the best quality inks, plates, blankets and other consumables are used to enhance the quality of production.

Preventive maintenance, skilled, dedicated and qualified manpower, quality assurance, paper testing laboratory are key contributors to efficiency, productivity and quality of our establishment. Automation techniques in binding such as automatic gathering and perfect binding machines to achieve the best finishing results are landmarks matching our products to international standards. International-class saddle stitching, thread sewing machines and extensive automated facilities for spiral and wire binding, lamination, foil stamping and case-making are built in for quality enhancement in our printing unit.

Packaging is what ensures delivery of product to the customers. Once the product is printed, we have value-added services for prompt wrapping and packaging that ensures the safety and quality of finished goods.
